The Model H-418 is the most unique, most efficient, most durable and without a doubt, the safest stock tank deicer available.
The H-418 is constructed utilizing a patented, state of the art, Cast Aluminum Design. The exposed element in encased in aluminum, which enables it to operate more efficiently at a lower outside temperature then open element designed de-icers. This design makes it completely safe in all types of tanks including plastic.
Lime build-up is the leading cause if de-icer failures. The unique design of this De-icer makes cleaning the de-icer easier then any exposed element unit. In addition the H-418 is virtually indestructible which means it will outlast most other models available on the market today.
This de-icer is thermostatically controlled to operate only when necessary. The cord is protected with a heavy-duty "anti-chew" cord protector.
